Why choose the Sentry 700.80 fire door?

The Sentry® 700.80 is an outward-opening, pre-hung door. We’ve designed these fire door sets for rapid, no-fuss installation in interior or exterior-facing walls. Our door’s heavy-duty construction, dual-skin metal cladding, stainless steel butt hinges and three-sided door jamb offer absolute security. We can also tailor its Colorbond® steel surface to suit your site’s aesthetics.

If you’re a developer or site manager, book a consultation with our design specialists for a tailored recommendation on doors and upgradable hardware and accessories.

What are the Australian standards for a fire-rated door?

In Australia, the standards for fire-rated doors are AS 1905.1-2005. These standards set expectations for the frame and hardware, including the installation of an automatic door closer, and demand that fire doors be able to withstand direct flame for up to two hours.

Our Sentry® 700.80 meets these standards. We offer several optimisation options in addition to automatic door closers to further improve usability and safety. The E-Core® fire-resistant material within our doors has been designed specifically to meet AS 1905 standards, guaranteeing your safety and maximising your site’s fire rating.
